Okay, so the IIHF World Juniors Final was last night... here's how it went down.
I walked into my parents room, switched on the TV and changed the channel to SportsCentre. I see that the score at the time was 5-3 for the Americans, so I was like, alright, whatever.
I sit back down at my desk and about 5 minutes later, I go web browsing and justsohappened to end up on http://www.tsn.ca. The score was now 5-4. Getting excited, I decided to stream the game live.
2 minutes later, Jordan Eberle scores the tying goal for Canada, with under 5 minutes to go in regulation.
Gahh, Canada's saviour comes to the rescue once more!
ANYWAYS.
Less than 10 minutes into overtime, a John Carlson (who the fuck is that?!) scores the game winning goal, effectively ending Canada's drive for 6.
Rather saddening, really.
