I find that utterly p o i n t l e s s.
95% of those who make a New Years Resolution remember it, but don't even follow through.
4% of the remaining 5% completely forget about their Resolution.
And that remaining sliver of life, that last percent of people who make a Resolution actually follow through with it.
As of now, I'm among the 95%, soon to either go to the 4% of those who forget their Resolution or the 1% of those who actually follows through with their Resolution.
My Resolution was to "grow a set and ask L.D. out". That's just me being blunt and straightforward with myself.
So far, 4 days into 2010 and I have yet to actually speak to her in person.
No balls, much?
Yeah, I'm calling out my own manhood, so what?
I keep saying to myself, "Today's my day. Today's the day I'm gonna ask her out."
Here's how things REALLY go.
*I show up at school*
*Hang around in the cafeteria*
*Sees her*
*Try not to look at her*
Yeah, I'll admit that I'm a pretty big jackass when it comes to talking to her face to face, but then again, it doesn't ever seem like she wants to talk to me at all.
My new resolution is to do this by the end of the week, or forever hold my peace 'cuz...
... she's thinking about transferring.
